The meeting saw the presentation of new innovative remittance initiatives that have been recently launched in Ghana in partnership with Ecobank, Fidelity Bank and MFS Africa.
We were joined in-person by Cenfri who provided an overview and insight into the regulatory assessment and RSP support they have conducted in Ghana and the region. Cenfri will then lead an interactive discussion on ‘Navigating hurdles to remittance market innovation’.
Finally, Ghana’s Remittances Community of Practice was lauched and the details of objectives, focus topics and themes, scheduling, and administration were shared with the members.
