The National Remittance Stakeholder Network South Africa meeting was aimed at reviewing the priorities for the country identified in the recently published diagnostic report, which has been summarized in the attached National Roadmap. This meeting focused on the aspects related to the support of the private sector, and IFAD’s planned intervention.
In this context, the FFR launched the Remittances Innovation Champion initiative, to finance private sector entities for initiatives aimed at promoting innovation in the South African corridors identified by the PRIME Africa initiative, i.e. Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
