RCTF: Must-read articles and events 19 April 2021

The Remittance Community Task Force set up to address challenges faced by migrants and families during COVID-19 crisis, continues to monitor the vast online coverage to help you understand the effects of the pandemic on remittance families and markets and to show the different trends in terms of remittance flows and proposed responses.
In this edition of the Must-read, the Financing Facility for Remittances is pleased to announce the upcoming Global Forum on Remittances, Investment and Development (GFRID) Summit 2021 to take place virtually on 16 and 17 June in conjunction with the International Day of Family Remittances. Please mark your calendars to attend the global forum that will focus on pertinent topics related to remittances, diaspora investments, and enabling environment and global practices.
