The National Remittance Stakeholder Network (NRSN) in Ghana was set up in 2020 in response to the challenges brought by the global pandemic. Since then, the Network grew significantly and has now become a well-recognized platform for key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, and civil society, involved in the national remittance market to connect and recommend actions to make remittances accessible, safer, affordable and to count more.
In 2022, in response to the NRSN members’ needs for an interactive space to discuss the challenges, opportunities, trends and innovation, and other relevant remittance industry-specific issues, an NRSN Community of Practice (CoP) has been established.
The topics that have been covered so far are navigating hurdles to remittance market innovation, identity challenges faced by remittance operators in the Ghana market, financial Literacy (FinLit) in the Ghana remittance market and challenges in Ghana’s remittance market in 2023. As a member of this community, you can share your knowledge, connect with your peers and promote your activities.
